Debby´s life: "I can do all things..."

"I can do all things..."

Hey guys,

How did your week go? For me, the new year is just kicking off this week, because I have finally gotten back to work. The nicest thing was recording vocals for my new songs. In the process, I realized once again, that my favorite place is in the studio! I can completely switch off and dive into a creative world, where there are no limitations...

At the same time, I have had the feeling all week, that I just can't accomplish everything that I have set out to do. Between skype meetings, studio work, emails and my normal daily responsibilties, it sometimes feels like I have a big mountain to climb that is an impossibility. But the good thing about that feeling, is the fact that "I" really can't do everything, but I have a great God behind me that goes before me and knows everything! It doesn't matter how busy or productive I can be, I am not a big record company that can accomplish ten things at the same time. I am always aware that when I have any type of success, it is because God has opened the doors, and creates possibilites for me that I could not do on my own.

My favorite Bible verse continues to be; "I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me."  Phil. 4:13

The example of David and Goliath keeps going through my mind, when I come to a place of frustration or despair. The young boy David, simply had courage and a big portion of trust in his  God who stood behind him, and was mightier than the giant that stood before him. There are so many examples in the Bible, where God turned what was humanly impossible into great miracles!

That is why I continue to try to start everyday with the Bible so that I am reminded of what God can do in my life. I am encouraged, and at the same time get the motivation that I need ,to keep on working towards my vision in the music business.

I am sure that 2017 will be an exciting and special year! A new chapter has begun, and the old one is closed. So that I can try to keep this moment, I wanted to give you a little impression about my concerts last year. I had the pleasure of singing for so many great people and I am thankful for all the beautiful moments that we shared at various events. I can't imagine any other cooler job, and I am so thankful for all the challenges that have prepared me for the upcoming year!

You are precious,

Debby
